Carniq is a mobility comparison platform operated from Athens, Greece. Carniq is not a rental company.
2. Information we collect
We collect the information you provide through our search and contact forms, such as pickup location, dates, driver age, and — where you contact us — your name, company, email address and message. We also collect basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages viewed.
3. How we use information
We use this information to operate and improve the platform, to return relevant search results, to respond to enquiries, and to communicate with rental providers and partners about integrations.
4. Search, forms and booking data
Search criteria are used to build a rental request. When provider integrations are active, the details required to complete a rental (such as driver details) will be transmitted to the selected rental provider so it can process the rental. No booking data is processed while the platform displays example vehicles only.
5. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the website to function, and may use analytics to understand aggregated usage of the site. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
6. Sharing with third parties
We share personal data only where necessary: with rental providers or their distribution partners to fulfil a rental request, and with service providers that host or support the platform. We do not sell personal data.

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above or as required by applicable law, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
